I think a big part of the answer lies in this section of the post:

Q: What other 2.0-centric idea will come out of the sandbox for general business?

Many business strategies that we're seeing in 2.0 will cross into general business practices over time.

Of course many will take a long time to filter down to the majority of local/small businesses.

Question for you: how will all this help my record shop/ florist / carpet cleaner/ nanny do better? That and similar is 95% of the businesses out there.

An ex turned me onto him a few years back, and I've really liked it since. When's the new one out? That sounds like a cool concept.

I have most of his albums / eps. I really like the guy's music. It will be interested to hear his next album --- it's going to be all samples from live instrumentation played by him.
